Shinichi Fukae, an angler competing on the Bassmaster Elite Series, created the Spro Wameku Shad 70 lipless crankbait. The Japanese verb wameku (wah-MEH-ku) means to yell, and this bait most certainly shouts. Two line ties are included on the Wameku Shad 70; the one nearest to the bait's eye is for fishing deeper water and produces a tighter, more delicate movement, while the one in the back is for fishing shallow water and produces a broader, more aggressive action.
