Subject to our stock availability and receipt of payment, online purchases will be processed and delivered within an average of 3 to 4 working days with the use of our preferred courier company. For deliveries to more remote areas not serviced as regularly by standard couriers, delivery can take up to 10 working days.
Should there be no stock of your requested product Big Catch will endeavour to source it locally and deliver it to you within 10 to 12 working days. In the event of the local suppliers being out of stock or Big Catch being out of stock of the Big Catch Brand, delivery may take up to 12 weeks or longer while the stock is en route from overseas.
Big Catch will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will ensure that your goods arrive at your chosen delivery address in the same good order.
Orders cancelled on the e-commerce facility will be refunded after the deduction of a 10% administration cost. Big Catch reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if the stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet Big Catch’s standards. In this event, Big Catch will refund the full amount and waive the administration fee.
Any complaints regarding the standard and quality of the product or products bought by consumers through the e-commerce facility should be directed to reception@bigcatch.co.za.
We do offer international shipping, however, please note that is costs R2000.00 for an order up to 5kgs and R250 per kg thereafter.
Big Catch will accept returned goods provided that we have received an email notification within 7 days of delivery. Please note that all items must be in their original packaging and in the same condition as you received them. Please check them when you receive them.
Please contact us at reception@bigcatch.co.za. We will arrange to have the item/s collected. Please ensure that you receive confirmation from us that your return request has been received by Big Catch to ensure that the 7 days are not exceeded.
If we receive notification after the 7 day period you will have to send the item back at your own cost. In this instance please retain the transport invoice. If the item is repaired or replaced under warranty by the Supplier then Big Catch will refund the transport cost and the new item will be returned to you at no extra cost.
For Refunds on items that cost less than R250.00 an R85.00 return delivery cost will be deducted from your refund. For Refunds on items that cost more than R250.00 returns will be free.
Refunds will be paid to you within 4 working days by EFT or Credit Card which method you used to pay for the goods when you purchase it/them.
Big Catch has a very good business relationship with all the major suppliers of fishing tackle in South Africa and will act on your behalf to get goods that are defective repaired or replaced.
Reels come with a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer which means that if the reel is faulty they will have it repaired by their authorised repairer; there are a number of these around the country.
Fishing Rods have a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty but due to the nature of the product are only covered if the rod breaks whilst fishing ie whilst being used for the purpose for which it was designed. Rods are not covered if they are dropped, stood on, closed in a door of a car etc. Rod Eyes and Tips do break from time to time but these can be replaced.
