The Roosta Popper 160 is designed and built to produce the most noise and splash possible from a medium-sized popper while maintaining great casting capability, excellent strength, and high durability.

Working this popper does not take a lot of effort. To get the best results, point the rod tip at the lure and sweep the rod down 50-60 degrees, allowing the lure to pause briefly before winding in any slack line and repeat at irregular intervals.

The Roosta 160's very unusual head design creates a lengthy and extremely noisy bubble trail by allowing cavitation bubbles and consequent noise to escape through the curved cup sides of the popper.
